1. Medical & Dental History Review
We start by reviewing the medical history form you completed in advance, along with your medications and dental background. This helps us personalise your care and address any specific needs from the very beginning.
2. Oral Examination
A full inspection of your teeth, gums, tongue, and soft tissues. We also check your jaw joints (TMJ) and screen for oral cancer. Extraoral areas, such as the neck and lymph nodes, are assessed where appropriate.
3. Intra-Oral Camera / Digital Tour
Next, we use a small intra-oral camera to show you a live tour of your mouth on the overhead monitor. You see exactly what we see — making it easier to understand your oral condition.
4. Small Radiographs (X-rays)
When necessary, we take small, focused X-rays to detect issues not visible to the naked eye, such as decay between teeth or early bone changes.
5. Advanced Imaging /3D Scan (if applicable)
If further detail is needed (e.g. for wisdom teeth assessment or implant planning), we may recommend additional imaging such as Panoramic or CT scan. These scans are not included in the standard exam fee and will only be done with your approval.
6. Discussion & Treatment Plan
We clearly explain our findings, answer your questions, and provide tailored advice. If treatment is needed, we outline your options, phased plans, and cost estimates.
7. Next Steps
Before leaving, You may book your next appointment (for Hygiene , treatment, or your next routine exam) so you have a clear plan in place.

Yes. Our online booking system helps you select either a check-up or a consultation and matches you with the most suitable dentist and time slot.
You’ll receive immediate feedback during your appointment. If treatment is needed, we’ll explain your options clearly. A written treatment plan with all detailed items and cost estimates will also be provided to you.
It’s advisable to bring your retainer or night guard (if you have one), and any implant details if your visit relates to an implant. Please also email reception in advance with any relevant referrals, reports, or recent X-rays.
We usually recommend a check-up every 6–12 months, depending on your oral health and risk factors. Our preventative approach aims to avoid reaching the point of pain or unexpected problems. At the end of your examination, your dentist will advise the ideal interval for future visits based on your overall risk assessment and discussion together.
